As an inorganic non-metallic material, glass has the function of separating wind and transmitting light, so it is primarily used in the construction and decoration sector, also known as the real estate industry. About 70% of glass is used for this purpose. Additionally, it is also applied in the automotive, new energy, household appliances and electronics, medical, crafts, and other fields. The demand for glass in the automotive industry accounts for 15%. With the development of the solar industry, the application of solar glass is also expanding.

Architectural glass is the most common use, such as in house windows and balconies.

Automotive glass is primarily used in the new car market and the auto repair market, with the Yangtze River Delta, the Pearl River Delta, and North China being the main markets.

Solar glass refers to the cover or lid glass used in solar photovoltaic power generation and solar thermal components.

Low-E glass, also known as low radiation coated glass, is more energy-efficient than regular glass and is primarily used in green energy conservation buildings.
