The difference between fire rated glass and tempered glass can be found through the production process:

Tempered glass: Cut the original glass according to the required size, grind the edges, open holes, clean, tempering, inspect, and store it in the warehouse.

Single piece fire-resistant glass: Cut the original glass according to the required size, grind edges, open holes, clean, replace ions (After cleaning, the glass is soaked in a cesium potassium ion solution, and at a specific temperature, the calcium ions and sodium ions on the surface of the cleaned glass are replaced), clean, tempering (the tempering wind pressure is three times that of ordinary tempered glass), inspect, package, and store.

Summary of Differences:

1.Tempered glass is just a physical change, fire-resistant glass is already a chemical change.

2.Tempered wind pressure increases, and the impact resistance of fire-resistant glass is better.
