Laminated glass is believed to be familiar to everyone, as it is a type of glass with excellent safety performance. The commonly known laminated glass is manufactured using PVB film. In addition to PVB film, SGP can also be used for processing. SGP film is an intermediate film that is superior to PVB film, and of course, the latter is more expensive than the former.
Advantages of SGP laminated glass:
1. Excellent mechanical function.
SGP film has high strength and shear ability, and its acceptable strength is twice that of PVB film of the same thickness. Under the same load and thickness conditions, the bending deflection of SGP laminated glass is only one fourth of that of PVB laminated glass;

2. Good edge stability.
Ordinary PVB films are prone to delamination, yellowing, and bubbles during long-term use, with a yellowing coefficient of 6-12; SGP film has good resistance to moisture, with a yellowing coefficient less than 1.5;
3. Excellent tear resistance.
The tear resistance of SGP laminated film is 5 times milder than that of PVB, and it can still form a temporary safe structure even in a broken state, accepting a certain load without causing the glass to fall. Natural disasters such as strong winds and earthquakes, as well as man-made damage such as knocking, have natural resilience.
4. Weather resistant ultraviolet radiation.
SGP laminated glass has good weather resistance and is not sensitive to external climate changes. It will not turn yellow after long-term use.
5. Strong load-bearing ability. When SGP laminated glass is hit by heavy objects, the glass has good adhesion, and even if the glass is intact, it will not experience the phenomenon of scattered glass.
The SGP film itself is colorless and transparent, with excellent physical properties. When used in conjunction with ultra white glass, it can achieve better aesthetics and functionality.
