Fireproof glass is a 3C product that belongs to the mandatory certification of the country, and it is also a special glass that is key to monitoring in the field of architectural glass. National departments have also successively issued standards for fire-resistant glass, providing detailed regulations on its production at the source (company qualifications), quality testing (professional institutions conducting fire inspections), sales (qualified testing reports), completion acceptance (fire inspections), and other aspects. This shows the importance and wide application of fire-resistant glass.

According to the safety glass for building use - Part 1: Fire resistant glass GB15763.1-2009, the type and fire resistance rating of fire resistant glass are specified. Therefore, it is very important to distinguish the authenticity of fire-resistant glass products. Qualified fire-resistant glass usually has three standardized parts marked on the product:

1.CCC certification mark. Firstly, Class A fire-resistant glass refers to insulated fire-resistant glass (composite fire-resistant glass). This type of fire-resistant glass must pass the mandatory national product certification before it can be sold, and the product must have this mark to be qualified. Secondly, Class C fire-resistant glass refers to non insulated fire-resistant glass (single piece fire-resistant glass), which does not require mandatory national product certification.

2. Product type identification. In the "Safety Glass for Building Use Part 1: Fireproof Glass GB15763.1-2009", it is clearly stipulated that composite fire-resistant glass is marked as: FFB; And it is stipulated that the single piece fireproof glass is marked as DFB. For example: FFB-35-A1.50 (composite fire-resistant glass, nominal thickness 35mm, fire resistance and thermal insulation class A, fire resistance and thermal insulation time 1.5 hours), the first item represents the product structure type, the second item represents the nominal thickness of fire-resistant glass, and the third item represents the fire resistance performance of fire-resistant glass and the time expressed in hours. Regardless of the type of fire-resistant glass, each piece must be strictly labeled according to the above specifications.

Below is an introduction to single piece fire-resistant glass:

DFB-12-C2.00 (Single piece fire-resistant glass, nominal thickness of 12mm, fire resistance and thermal insulation of Class C (non thermal insulation and fire resistance), fire resistance time of 2.0 hours), the first item represents the product structure type, the second item represents the nominal thickness of fire-resistant glass, and the third item represents the fire resistance performance of fire-resistant glass and the time expressed in hours.

3. Company logo. Qualified fire-resistant glass manufacturers have formal production and sales qualifications, and inevitably have their own brand. The company logo represents the company brand, while non-standard small factories do not have corresponding logos and standards.
