Glass has special properties such as transparency, perspective, sound insulation, and thermal insulation. With the continuous improvement of people's living standards, the application of glass products in decoration is becoming increasingly widespread. Currently, glass doors, windows, partitions, and glass decoration are very popular in home decoration. Glass materials can be divided into glass sheets, mainly used for parts that require lighting in decoration. There are various types such as flat glass, embossed glass, frosted glass, coated glass, engraved glass, tempered glass, etc., which can be selected according to the requirements of different parts and decorative effects.

Quality assessment of glass materials: 1. Inspection of glass sheets. The appearance quality is mainly checked for flatness, observing for quality defects such as bubbles, inclusions, scratches, lines, and fog spots. Glass with such defects will deform during use, reducing its transparency, mechanical strength, and thermal stability. Therefore, it is not suitable for use in engineering. As glass is a transparent object, its quality can be easily distinguished by visual inspection during selection. 2. Inspection of glass processing products. In addition to testing according to the requirements of flat glass, the processing quality should also be inspected to ensure that the specifications, dimensions, processing accuracy, and pattern clarity meet the requirements. At the same time, there should be no defects at the edges.
